Have you ever felt paralyzed by the thought of failing or even succeeding? If you're a human being, I am sure that you have. And I want you to know that it's completely normal to feel that way. But it can be incredibly limiting. And this fear is often rooted in self doubt and fear of the unknown. So today we're diving into the topic that holds many of us back. The fear of failure or success. Let's get into it.

Welcome to the Inhale Exhale Success Podcast, where we help women entrepreneurs create a life they love, feel confident in their body and build a business without burning out by equipping them with the best tools, strategies, and my proven formula. Every business woman must have my name is Dee Medina. Let's get started and be successful together. Hola hola, welcome back to another episode. I hope that you are doing well. And that your family is doing well too. If you celebrate the 4th of July, I hope that you stay safe and have a day full of celebration with your loved ones. , I can't help but feel so blessed and grateful to be here with you today. And to be honest, I am still on cloud nine from having launched this show about a week and a half ago, and I don't think that That feeling's ever going to fade. I've heard of the infamous pod fade and how most people fall off after the seventh episode or so, but I believe in all hearts of hearts that I won't be part of that statistic. Because since starting this podcast, it just sparked something inside of me. It opened up a side of creativity in me that I can't get enough of, and never thought I could have or be capable of. But I guess that was just my limiting belief. Thinking that I can't start a podcast or that I couldn't start a podcast. But the more that I thought about it, the more that I dove deep into that thought I came to realize that it was just simply rooted in fear. And if you find yourself in those thoughts that you can't do something, you can't start something, you won't make it to something, I want you to really take a moment to think about it and ask yourself, why am I thinking that I can't? Where is this coming from? Burn out can play a significant role when amplifying those fears because when you're exhausted your confidence takes a hit and then suddenly even the smallest thought like starting a podcast, maybe starting a business, or launching your program can seem impossible. It's like trying to climb a mountain when you're already running on empty. And then Add financial stress into the mix, and it's no wonder that so many of us can feel stuck. Because the pressure to make the right financial decisions can make the fear of failure even more daunting. But I want to share some good news with you. You can reframe your thoughts on failure and success. And it starts with visualizing your success and breaking down those big, scary goals into smaller, manageable steps.

Let me share an example with you that I shared with my client the other day, okay? I want you to imagine that you're standing at the edge of a cliff, looking straight at the other side, knowing that you need to get across, but it's miles long. You may be thinking, oh hell no, because you're full of fear and thinking that it's a risk to jump and that you won't make it. But what if I told you that there were stepping stones underneath your feet? Each one perfectly placed for you to take a small step that brings you closer to your goal of getting to the other side without the overwhelming fear of a giant leap. Don't let fear of how far the destination is stop you from taking a moment to put your head down and look that there's a path for you to get there.

And I want to share my personal story with you. I felt a lot of fear leading up to my podcast brunch and launch party. I had never launched a podcast before, and I had never thrown a party anywhere outside of my house. So I was worried that, one, I was going to buy all of these things for a party and goodie bags and everything, and that no one would show up. But you know what I did? I decided to push through that fear and go ahead with what I wanted to do of getting to the other side. I took small steps before I started purchasing the things that I needed. I asked friends if they would come. Then whoever would sign up, I'd add more orders. Then I started asking women in the community if they would come. And if more would sign up, I would add even more orders. So by the end of the night before the party, I had everything accounted for. A couple ladies slipped in at the last minute, but I still managed to stay within budget. And you know what? The launch party was a huge success. I had five times the number of signups compared to my previous workshop three months ago. My guests love the party I had guest speakers, a Reiki practitioner, and a sound therapist who ended the event with a sound bath. Everything was just amazing. All the women resonated with the intention, the message, and the podcast trailer as well. Even now I'm still receiving incredible feedback about how much they enjoyed the event, how they can't wait for the next one, or the next episode, or any other offers that I have. Imagine if I had listened to the fear I felt and the thought that nobody would show up and not gone ahead with what I set out to do. None of that would have happened. And this show wouldn't even be here.

So the solution for you here is to overcome the fear of failure. Take calculated risks. Embrace the possibility of success. I started going from nobody's gonna show up to if one person shows up, that's success for me. And remember that every step forward is progress. And to also tackle the financial stress, I want you to create a budget and set clear financial goals for yourself. If you're struggling with debt, you can catch my episode on how I paid off over 44, 000 as a single mom of five. This way, you'll have a roadmap that guides your decisions and alleviate some of that anxiety that can create the fear that holds you back from striving to getting to the success that you're looking for. When you take the steps that are necessary, you'll find yourself confidently pursuing your goals and your dreams without that crippling fear holding you back.

So here's your call of action for today, okay? If fear is holding you back at this moment from getting to the other side of your cliff, I want you to pause. Take a moment. Look down see which step you can take that gets you closer to your goal. You can do that by writing it out. And if it still feels too scary, if you are just simply focused on the leap that you need to take to get to the other side, then I want you to send me a DM. I have a framework that I can share with you about overcoming fears. And if it's financial stress that's adding to your worries, I have something very special for you. I am launching a life changing on demand course at the end of July. Yup, you heard that right, my friend. I'm taking another risk, I'm feeling that fear, and I'm still doing the damn thing anyway.
