If you're a mompreneur, you are constantly feeling like you're juggling everything in your life. From managing your business, to taking care of your family, It can all feel like there are never enough hours in the day, and I'm sure that you've said, I wish I had more hours in the day. But what if I told you that by creating a solid routine can help you handle everything on your plate? And also help you hit those four to six figures a month. It sounds impossible, right? Well stick around because on this episode, we're going to break down exactly how you can do that.

Welcome to the Inhale Exhale Success Podcast, where we help women entrepreneurs create a life they love, feel confident in their body and build a business without burning out by equipping them with the best tools, strategies, and my proven formula. Every business woman must have my name is Dee Medina. Let's get started and be successful together.

Hola, hola. Welcome back to another episode of Inhale Exhale Success. I hope you are all having a wonderful summer break so far. I have been having a blast with my kids, my family, my friends. Just enjoying the summer, getting tanned and just soaking all the love in before my kiddos go back to school. And another thing that I've been doing is helping and serving my community and my clients and I'm just so filled with gratitude for it all to be able to serve people through my coaching is just simply the greatest fucking gift I could have ever asked for.

I never could have imagined that I would, be doing what I'm doing and helping other women find their purpose of becoming business owners, growing their business, and scaling it to multiple four to six figures. That's mind boggling to me. But it's what I've been called to do. To answer the question many mamas have out there that keep them stuck In their lives and business which brings me to the topic of today, it was brought up by a dear friend of mine who was just having the hardest time just getting through a rough patch in her life, that just seems to be holding her back from making the progress that she'd like to be making in her life and eventually in her business. . It's also something that I've been hearing so much over the last couple of weeks as well. So we're diving into it today. And that's creating a routine that sets you up to make those 4 6 figure months without burning out. Because as new mompreneurs, it can be a struggle to find balance. In fact, many say that it's a myth, which I can agree to, to a certain extent. But we'll save that for another episode, okay? Now tell me if this is you. Or if you find yourself being in the situation more often than not. One morning you wake up, you have your day with a list full of tasks to do and everything seems to be going amazingly. But by noon, everything is in chaos. And by the end of the night, you're left exhausted and wondering, What the fuck happened today? Why didn't things go as planned? Now, I just want to say that some things just happen and are completely out of your control. Because let's get real, we're moms. And on top of that, we're moms who want to start, own and scale a business. And some of us are single moms. So the biggest challenges that we face when creating anything from making breakfast to making bank in our business, but especially a routine is that life happens. , your kids get sick, your husband, if you have one, isn't being as helpful as you'd like him to be. Your client has an emergency. You had to let go of an employee. And before you know it, your perfectly planned day is just out the window. And if you've been there, you're not alone. Many of us go through these trials and tribulations, but what I've seen with my clients, when we dive deeper and past the chaos.. That you believe that you're experiencing is simply that those moments only feel like chaos because your routine lacks flexibility and doesn't account for what's unexpected and how we work around it is with the essentials. We are setting clear priorities, creating time blocks and building in that flexibility into our schedules. And I'm going to get into a bit more detail of each one a little bit later on, but I just want you to know that it's also so important. To learn the art of delegating some of the tasks to people who can do the job quicker and better than you. Let's say you give yourself a month and you do those things, it will be a guarantee that you will see an increase in your productivity, but most importantly, a reduction in your stress levels. That's the formula to have what you want. Make the money that you want and without burning out. And the message that I kept hearing over and over again from my friend as she was venting is, I need a routine. I need a routine. I need a routine. And if you're like her and like many of my clients who are mamas who feel like you're letting everyone down because of one chaotic day, I just want you to think about how you already have a routine. And you're probably saying, what? No way, it does not feel like that. How is it even possible? Well, let me just say that many of you, especially if you are a single mom, you have a routine. It just may not look like societal standards, but you have routines. You have routines for your kids. You have bedtimes, mealtimes, school, nand sports and drop offs and pick ups if you work a nine to five, you have a routine when you get up to go to work every day, you have lunch at the same time, you clock out at the same time, you are already a pro at creating routines. But we just need to apply that same skill to your business. And if you're thinking, I can barely manage my routines now as it is, Dee, how will I be able to also add it to my business? Because that thought alone makes me feel like it's too much. Want you to know that I'm listening and you have a very valid question and concern because burnout is a big factor and nobody wants to go through that. But when you're not taking control of your routine, and you're constantly pushing yourself without the proper rest or self care, it's not a surprise that your productivity will plummet, and that you'll end up feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and guilty, creating just a recipe for disaster for yourself. So earlier I briefly mentioned to you about how I help my clients avoid and recover from chaos and burnout and build a routine that works, but I want to dive a bit deeper into each one. Now I know you're all capable and smart and may know these six steps, but everyone can always use a refresher and a reminder of how to help ourselves. So, for step one, I want you to set clear priorities by asking yourself, what are the top three things I need to accomplish today? And I want you to focus on those first. So, for example, if you're launching a new product, I want you to prioritize the tasks that are directly related to your launch and forget about the less critical activities like building a website, scrolling on IG, following a trend, or whatever does not help your launch. for step two, I want you to create and stick to your time blocks, those are the moments that you schedule specifically for work, family, and self care. If you have to work on a business task from 9 a. m. to 12 p. m. Then from 9 a. m. to 12 p. m. you are zoned in and all notifications are off. N O means notifications off. Then spend from 12 to 1 having lunch with your kids, and then take a 30 minute self care break in the afternoon. Step three is build in your flexibility. Make sure that you leave buffer times and you're scheduled to handle unexpected events. So if a client calls with an emergency, you don't have to sacrifice your entire day to address it. Now, step four out of six, many of you don't do, which is why you are left at the end of the day saying, what happened? And then going to sleep and then repeating the same day over again. I want you to ask yourself at the end of each day, what worked well today? What didn't? How can I adjust my routine tomorrow? For example, if you notice that you're constantly running out of time for self care, then adjust to prioritize it now, Step 5 is what you all know me for doing and living by. Other than Step 6, which we will get to very shortly. But, Step 5 is delegate and outsource. You can most certainly do that. You just need to identify the things that can be handled by other people. And I promise you that it will become the game changer for you when you start seeing the freeing up of your time for higher level work. So hire that assistant, whether it's virtual or in person. Have them help you manage your admin task. Or hire a babysitter to help with the kids during your busiest hours. And the last step, but certainly never the least, is prioritize self care. Remember you can't pour from an empty cup, so make sure that you're making time for activities that recharge you, whatever that looks like for you. Don't worry about what Susan did yesterday. Don't worry about what Jan is doing tomorrow. Do what works for you. If that's taking a walk, then take a walk. If it's practicing yoga, then do yoga. If it's just simply enjoying a quiet cup of coffee in the morning, do that. All of those work for me, but I also enjoy a good old day at the range where I could just shoot out the stress until my heart is content. Now another thing that can always help whether you have a coach or not is self coaching and sometimes I know you can be so stressed out of your mind that you can't even think straight. So ask yourself some questions that can help you create a sustainable routine. Ask yourself, what are my non negotiables for each day? Where can I build in the buffer times to handle those unexpected moments? How can I ensure that I'm taking care of myself while also managing my business and family? And integrate self care on a daily basis. It doesn't matter how long it is. If it's a five minute break, if it's 10, 15, 20, whatever it is, make sure that you're doing it every single day. And also ask yourself, what tasks can I delegate? What tasks can I outsource to just free up more of my time? and if you have a difficult time with this, or if you're ready to take this to the next level, then I have something special for you. I'm launching an on demand course and it's called Design Your Dream Schedule. And it will help guide you step by step in creating the routine that is just tailored to your unique needs and goals.
