Have you ever felt like the end of the year is creeping up on you, and you're nowhere near where you thought you'd be? Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed with all the goals you set back in January, wondering if you can really still achieve them? Or maybe you feel like you're frozen in place, afraid that if you take the next step, it won't be perfect. If any of these sound familiar, then today's episode is exactly what you need.

Welcome to the Inhale, Exhale, Success podcast, where we help women entrepreneurs create a life they love, feel confident in their bodies, and build a business without burning out by equipping them with the best tools, strategies, and my proven formula every businesswoman must have. My name is Dee Medina. Let's get started and be successful together.

Hola, hola! Welcome back to another episode. I am so excited to have you here with me as we dive into September, a month that's full of potential and opportunity. I like to think of September as a unique time for us and our businesses. The kiddos are back in school, which finally gives us adults just a little bit more space to breathe and focus on our goals, whether that's life, business, or weight loss. On top of that, there are some big shopping seasons just around the corner, which I believe makes it the perfect time to push forward and make things happen in our businesses.

Let me ask you this: as the year has progressed, do you find yourself adjusting your goals, or do you stick to the original plan no matter what? How do you handle it when things don't go as planned? Here's something I've noticed, and the problem that many ambitious women face this time of year: you set these big goals for the year, but as months pass by, maybe things just haven't gone exactly as planned. You're looking at your calendar, realizing that the end of the year is creeping up, and suddenly, panic sets in. You start feeling overwhelmed, questioning whether you have actually achieved what you set out to do.

How do you typically respond when you're feeling overwhelmed? Do you try to tackle everything at once, or do you find yourself stuck, unsure of where to start? This overwhelm can lead to one of two things: either you're scrambling to do everything at once, which often leads to burnout, or you freeze up, afraid to take the next step because you're worried it won't be perfect. If you're relating to this, I just want you to know that you are not alone. More importantly, there is a solution.

First, I want you to take a deep breath and know that it's okay to feel this way. We've all been there. What I want you to recognize is that you still have time to achieve your goals, but you might just need to shift your approach. Instead of trying to do everything at once or waiting until you feel 'ready,' I want you to focus on taking small, intentional steps forward.

I'm going to share with you a strategy that has worked for me and countless others, and that's breaking down your big goals into manageable pieces. What is one small step you can take today that will move you closer to your goal? It doesn't have to be a giant leap—just one action that pushes you forward. For example, let's say your goal is to launch a new product, offer, or service by the end of the year, but you haven't started yet because you're overwhelmed by the entire process. Instead of focusing on the whole launch, start with one piece. Maybe it's really defining who your ideal client is or drafting the first version of your sales page. Just take that one small action you can complete today, and repeat it again tomorrow and then the next day. When you focus on these small steps, they become consistent actions, and you start building the momentum you're looking for. That momentum leads to results.

It's okay if some of these steps don't go perfectly. In fact, I encourage you to embrace the possibility of failure, because when you allow yourself to fail, you remove the pressure of perfection and open yourself up to learning and growth. Remember, failure isn't the opposite of success; it's part of the journey to getting there. I've talked to so many successful entrepreneurs, and they all say the same thing: the faster you make those mistakes, the faster you learn, the faster you grow, and the faster you create the results you want.

When it comes to taking those steps, how do you feel about the possibility of failure? Are you open to learning from your mistakes, or does the fear of failure hold you back? As you move forward this September, give yourself permission to take those small, imperfect steps. Release the need to have it all figured out, and trust that each step, no matter how small, will bring you closer to your goals.

Maybe you're ready to stop feeling stuck, and you want some personalized support to get you moving in the right direction. I'm opening up a few spots to work closely with me over the next 12 weeks. During this time, we'll take a deep dive into your business and your goals, then create a clear, actionable plan to help you finish your year strong. If you're serious about making these last few months count and want to see some real progress, I invite you to book a call with me. Let's figure out what you need to focus on to get you to where you want to be without all the stress and overwhelm. Remember, the only failure is not trying. So go out there, take those steps, and let's make 2024 your best year yet.

I'll catch you on the next episode.
